LifePoint is hosting a free Soul Study this Advent and Christmas which will be very minimal in time commitment. We will read the brand new book, Rediscovering Christmas, by AJ Sherrill, and facilitate two online meetings for group discussion. That's it! Here are the details:
"Rediscovering Christmas" is a unique book divided into two sections: Advent (The Gift of Waiting) And Christmas (The Gift of Receiving).
AJ Sherrill is a gifted writer, pastor, and spiritual director who wrote this book to help us uncover more of the depth of Advent and Christmas so that we might feed on Jesus, the Bread of Life, rather than settle for sentimental stories that do little to truly sustain us.
Adam Ormord's conversation with AJ Sherrill about his new book will be released Wednesday, December 4th, on The Being Formed Podcast.
You will purchase your own book, Rediscovering Christmas, and read it on your own, making sure to finish the Advent section (8 chapters) before Christmas, and the Christmas section by December 6th.
